My Precious

Just wanted to check in with a quick note to say... my bike made it to AZ. It had one small issue, which was fixed quickly by the bike shop down the street. The front skewer somehow got all twisted around and wouldn't lock properly. Something about the possibility of my front tire flying off was a bit nerve racking!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!! I also had the bike shop guy look over my reassembly work for the "confidence factor". I scored a B on the reassembly. I need to crank those screws down a bit harder next time. I called and thanked my teacher, the Ludster for all his knowledge!! He is the best! Some triathletes don't want to share the knowledge they have with others for fear they might teach someone that would get faster then them. I think Luddy knows I am just so far out of his league that he doesn't worry about this sort of thing. OR maybe it's because I am like a second sister to him.. but either way.. I am thankful for learning. AND.. I promise to pay it forward some day.

Off to ride my precious in this beautiful Arizona sunshine!! I really do miss living here.
